Во время связи со сканером произошла ошибка 9923 mac

Hello all, and thank you for reading my entreaty :generic:

I can print to my OfficeJet.

I can «web scan» from my OfficeJet.

I can *not* connect to my OfficeJet using the OS X scanner.

Screenshot of the failing connection: «An error occurred while communicating with the scanner. (-9923)»

Logs in OS X console application (errors and faults -> AirScanner):

I *can* connect to my OfficeJet via web page, using the IP address.

I *can not* connect to my OfficeJet via the «.local» address:

Hi everyone,

I’ve got a problem with connecting to my scanner since I updated to Mac OS High Sierra. It’s Epson Stylus Office BX635FWD and I’ve been using it for a couple of years as a printer and scanner connected via AirPrint. Ever since I updated my Mac OS to the newest version, the error alert nr. 9923 keeps showing up when I try to connect to the scanner using System Preferences>Printers and scanners>Scanning or the Image Capture utility. Printer works though.

Does anybody have any suggestions for fixing this bug?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display,

macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

Check out this website: https://toggen.com.au/blog/it-tips/macos-sierra-scanning-fail

It’s a solution for HP printers/scanners, maybe there are similiar settings for Epson.

Just login to your scanner’s web interface and go to the ‘network’ or ‘network protocol’ tab. There switch to ‘Enable IPv4 only‘ instead of ‘Enable both IPv4 and IPv6’.

Product: Officejet 9015

Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Suddenly I am not able to scan from my Mac (Mojave 10.14.6) because of error message: Error communicating with scanner 9923~ with Mojave 10.14. I print from a network in a hotel, using System Preferences/Printer within Mac-OS. I’ve tried resetting printers under System Preferences but does not seem to work. I started trying to then delete all the HP Smart software to reinstall but could not do this through the Easy Start software as someone suggested. I deleted files under Finder/Go/Library/Printers, but it seems HP Smart App is still on the computer. I thought it might be a network issue related to IV6, but this attempt didn’t seem to work either. I did redownload HP Smart, but this didn’t seem to solve the problem. So as it is, I can no longer scan anything.
