- After changing the value, make the file write protected (right click and mark “Read Only”)
#7 Trine 2 Poor Performance/Low FPS
If you don’t know about your FPS then use the command “/show_fps 1” in the console window of the game to display the FPS.
If you are getting low FPS then try “/render_half_resolution 1” command and see the difference. It actually reduces (to half) the game resolution but the menu and user interface remains the same.
#8 Trine 2 Save Games Problem
If you are having trouble with your save games then you can get the save game files from this link. It’s a temporary measure till they fix the problem.
How To Use Trine 2 Save Game File:
- Download the savegame and put it to profilesdefaultsave
- Edit configoptions.txt and find the line “steam_cloud_enabled = 1” and change that to 0, save the file and then right-click it and choose Properties.
- Launch the game, and go check that your new save appears in the Options / Saveslots menu.
- If so, open the ingame console with F8 button, and write:
- “saveToSteamCloud” and press enter (case-sensitive, without quotes). This sends the local saves to Steam Cloud.
- Then to finish things, re-enable Steam Cloud in the console by writing: “/steam_cloud_enabled 1” and press enter.
#9 Trine 2 Overheats the GPU/CPU
Trine 2 really tests your GPU, 100% usage is normal as the game uses the full available resources of your machine. You can limit your framerates though to give your machine a breathing space. Also, lower super sample anti-aliasing (SSAA) as it is the most consuming option.
To limit the framerates manually, edit %APPDATA%/Trine2/options.txt. If you change line setOption(renderingModule, “ReduceInputLag”, false) and change the value to false, it will help make the gameplay smooth while putting less burden on your machine.
#10 How to Reduce Input Lag in Trine 2
You can face this issue due to number of frames being buffered. Trine 2 by default uses 2 frames.
Anyways, if you change value “setOption(renderingModule, “ReduceInputLag”, false” to true in %APPDATA%/Trine2/options.txt file then you can feel the difference. It might reduce some framerates but not much of a sacrifice.
#11 Trine 2 Multiplayer Connectivity Issues
Although Trine does support cross-platform multiplayer you might experience some unwanted issues during your playthrough preventing you from connecting to your friends. If you happen to be a part of the unfortunate few experiencing problems connecting to your friends, then you can try a few methods below:
The first and foremost thing that you should do is check that any external program isn’t mucking up the entire thing. You are looking for an antivirus running in the background or any security program that might be preventing the game from connecting online. Other than this, you can try and run the game as an administrator.
Alternatively, type in %AppData% into the address bar of your folder and go into the game’s folder and delete the options.txt file to reset the game’s settings.
If you can’t connect to a Private Game even after entering the correct password, then go to the Multiplayer game menu and try joining the game manually instead of through your friend’s invite.
If all else fails, try going back to an older version of Trine 2.
#12 Exception Code 0xc0000005
Try updating your video card drivers.
Go to the Trine 2 installation folder and try removing or renaming the atiags.dll from the folder.
Disable XFire if you have it running in the background.
If nothing works then go to your Steam Library, right click on Trine 2, select properties and then click on set launch options and enter the following line of text.
-disableMinidump

1. Качаем и устнавливаем игру ( лучше не репак а что то типо steam rip, кряк не ставим!)
2. Идем по пути и блокнотом откройте следующий файл:

находим 2 такие строчки в самом конце:

6. В документе steam_appid.txt меням то что там на 28020.(если не заменяется то сначала снимите галочку «только чтение» в свойствах,напишите 28020, сохраните и обратно поставьте галочку на «только чтение».
7. Далее запускаем игру и ищем сервера!(И еще к кому у подключаешегося должен стоять тот же патч что и у тебя, и вбит тот же appid (28020)
На свет появился платформер Trine 2 и многие пользователи, конечно же, прильнули к экранам своих компьютеров, чтобы оценить всю прелесть данного творения. Но что если игра вылетает, сильно тормозит или вообще не запускается? Как с этим бороться? Есть несколько советов от бывалых геймеров.
Прежде чем начать искать свою проблему, вам необходимо обновить драйвер своей видеокарты или дополнительное програмное обеспечение (DirectX, Microsoft .NET Framework и Microsoft Visual C++)
1. Появляется ланчер, но затем Trine 2 не хочется запускаться
Причин данной проблемы может быть много. Способы решения:
1) Попробуйте запустить .exe файл от имени администратора
2) Переместите папку с Trine 2 на другой диск
3) Заново скачайте игру
2. Очень высокий пинг в Trine 2. Невозможно играть в кооператив
Тут, скорее всего, дело в вашей сетевой карте. Попробуйте поиграться с настройками или отключить вообще все дополнительные функции сетевой карты, если таковые имеются.
3. Проблема с раскладкой клавиатуры в Trine 2
Если вы не можете сменить раскладку клавиатуры, то найдите папку %APPDATA%Trine2UserBinds и проверьте, чтобы у неё не стаяла галочка напротив параметра «только для чтения». Если же таковой папки вообще нет, то создайте её сами.
4. Trine 2 вообще не запускается
Как ни странно, но это довольно распространённая проблема. И опять же, как ни странно, в подавляющем большинстве случаев элементарная перезагрузка клиента Steam, а лучше и всего РС помогает на ура.
5. Проблемы с портами в Trine 2
Наиболее вероятно, что у вас не замапины порты Steam. Тут есть список портов, которые использует клиент. Пропишите их в своём роутере и вероятно проблема исчезнет.
6. Как изменить частоту обновления экрана в Trine 2
1) По умолчанию в Trine 2 используется частота обновления 50 Гц. Если у вас есть какие-то проблемы с этим, то попробуйте изменить данный параметр. Для этого:
2) Найдите файл options.txt, который находится в C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommontrineconfigoptions.txt
3) Затем откройте текстовый файл и найдите раздел Display. добавьте строчку refresh_rate_override = 60 (частота обновления может быть другой, в зависимости от вашего предпочтения).

5) После внесённых изменений сделайте файл доступным «только для чтения»
7. Проблемы с производительностью в Trine 2
Чтобы узнать какое значение FPS показывает ваш компьютер в игре, наберите в консоли команду /show_fps 1.
Если значение окажется маленьким, то введите команду /render_half_resolution 1 и посмотрите изменится ли что-нибудь. По сути, игра будет работать при разрешении вдвое меньшем, но меню и пользовательский интерфейс останутся без изменений.
8. проблема с сохранениями Trine 2
Если у вас возникла данная проблема, то можно скачать сохранения отсюда. Это временное решение, пока разработчики не разберутся в чём проблема.
Как использовать сохранения:
Качаем файл сохранений и помещаем сюда profilesdefaultsave
1) Редактируем файл configoptions.txt. Находим в нём строчку steam_cloud_enabled = 1 и меняем значение на 0, затем сохраняем файл и делаем доступным только для чтения.
2) Заходим в Trine 2 и убеждаемся, что сохранения появились в игре.
3) Если так и есть, то открываем консоль нажатием клавишу F8 и вписываем туда saveToSteamCloud, а затем жмём Enter. Данный параметр отправит сохранения в Steam Cloud.
4) Теперь опять меняем значение /steam_cloud_enabled в файле configoptions.txt на 1.
9. Процессор или видеокарта перегреваются из-за Trine 2
Trine 2 и правда очень требовательна к ресурсам и использует вашу машину по полной. Чтобы немного облегчить жизнь вашего компьютера можете ограничить количество кадров в секунду или выключить анти-альязинг.
Чтобы ограничить количество кадров в секунду обратимся к старому доброму файлу %APPDATA%/Trine2/options.txt. Если поставить значение false напротив параметров setOption(renderingModule, ReduceInputLag) то игра будет работать быстрее.
10. Как уменьшить количество лагов в Trine 2
Эта проблема связана с количеством кадров, которые игра помещает в буфер. По умолчанию это 2 кадра.
Если поменять вышеупомянутое значение setOption(renderingModule, ReduceInputLag) на true, то разница будет заметна. Тут уже сами решайте, как вам будет приятнее играть.

Запуск игры:
1. Запускаем сначала SmartSteam (или GreenLuma).
1.1. Желательно также запустить Tunngle или Hamachi, чтобы было больше серверов.
2. Запускаем игру.

Сетевая игра —> Подключиться к сетевой игре —> Перед вами появится список серверов, Выбираем наиболее понравившийся и Подключаемся.
Создание сервера:
Сетевая игра —> Организовать публичную игру (для всех игроков) или частную игру (только для друзей) —> Указываем настройки сервера по вкусу —> Ждем пока к вам подключатся 1-2 ваших друга, или же пригласите их через систему друзей стима.—>Начинаем игру
Примечания, FAQ:
Будет видно другие игры, но подключиться к ним нельзя. Поэтому узнавайте название сервера, созданного с этим же фиксом, заранее.
Если у вас выскакивает «ошибка создания игры» или «ошибка подключения», то замените в файле steam_appid. txt в папке с игрой цифру 7780 на 28020 (сначала снимите галочку «только чтение», затем верните ее назад).
Как сменить язык в игре:
В файле options. txt по адресу…appdata/trine 2 (для xp) и C:/users/user/appdata/roaming/trine 2 (для windows 7)
Если проблемы с сохранением, тов том же options. txt найдите setOption(profileModule, «UseSteamCloud», true) и setOption(profileModule, «UseSteamCloudSyncing», true) и поставьте эти значения на false. Теперь сохранения будут работать.
