TM Sunrise working on Windows 7 x64!!

i’m new to this board but i bought TMSunrise couple of years ago.
I’m allready searching a solution for this problem since the beginning of december.
Actually it’s running on my windows 7 computer since 3th of januari. But i didn’t found the time to write a walkthrough.
Now i have installed windows 7 on my roommates computer also and he also plays sunrise. Perfect time to write the installation walkthrough.

1. install the original installation cd. (it will take a while to launch cause the installer is packed in one file.)
DO NOT LAUNCH THE PROGRAM

4. install the extreme package «trackmania_sunrise_extreme_update.exe»
DO NOT LAUNCH THE PROGRAM

5. install the update «Tmsx_150_to_151_CD_Setup.exe»
DO NOT LAUNCH THE PROGRAM
If windows promptes you for the installation file, just click it’s installed correctly

6. Now run the Tmsunrise icon on your desktop. CLICK RIGHT! choose to run as administrator.
Don’t adjust your settings yet. Just click play.
You will be prompted too run a video test. Click OK
Starforce will ask you to install the protection system: Click yes
click yes again to reboot your system.

7. after rebooting your system windows will say there’s a incompatible driver blocked. Ignore this.
his message will appear every time you logon to your system but is doesn’t do any harm.

8. Now you have to update the starforce driver. Note that the blocked driver message will remain.
Download the update.

Install it by right-clicking and run as administrator
When a message appears to restart your computer to complete updating, do it.

9. After rebooting double-click the TmSunrise icon on your desktop.
again you will be asked to reboot. Do it.

10.After rebooting double-click the TmSunrise icon on your desktop.
again you will be asked to reboot. This time don’t reboot!!
This time it will ask to enter your product key. Fill in your product key and click ok.
It will ask you to search for updtes. Click ok. After that it will tell you it’s up to date.

11.The menu will appear. Close it.

13.Extract the files and replace the original ones in you installation folder with these.

14.Launch the game by right-clicking the «TMSunrise.exe» file in your installation folder and run as administrator.
It will ask you to install additional libraries. Click yes. A message will appear to enter your key again in the launcher.
Click ok.

15.Double click the TmSunrise launcher on your desktop. It will check your internet connection. click allow access when it’s prompted.
The click ok. You will see a windows version with the text «please wait’
This can take a while so be patiented.
The launcher will reappear. DON’T CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS YET
Click play.

After you made your profile you can exit the game and adjust your settings.

Установка:
1 Запускаем TmSunriseSetup.exe
2 Запускаем TmsExtreme_FromSunrise_Setup.exe
3 Заменяем файлы из NoCD.rar
4 Запускаем игру, соглашаемся на установку доп. библиотек и вводим код (код в файлике на диске )

Вообщем вышло обновление Trackmania Power up! Update 1.2
Поставил я его на версию Trackmania-iMMERSiON и теперь просит диск.
Что делать?

After years of Sunrise being unplayable, so many years. you were forced to downgrade to Windows 7 to play it which is out of support now and modern systems have issues with drivers too!

Well, now you can play it on Windows 10, natively — just open the game and play — no VM or downgrading BS.

hopefully this patch can be transferred to these Trackmania titles so they can work on Windows 10 also, this requires the work of another member :

• Trackmania Original

• Trackmania Nations ESWC

• Trackmania United (Non-Forever)

well, lets get into how to play Sunrise on Windows 10.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Install Trackmania Sunrise, then the extreme update and then the 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 update.

2. Copy all files from downloaded archives into the Trackmania Sunrise folder. As well as D3D9.dll. Replace when prompted.

3. Set both TmSunrise.exe and TmSunriseLauncher.exe to run as administrator via right clicking the exe files and then heading to properties and ticking the run as administrator checkbox.

4. Open TmSunriseLauncher.exe and input your license key, change your settings etc and hit play, the game should start, if not then run via TmSunrise.exe.

5. enjoy! i believe you can play multiplayer via LAN also.

Current issues which may happen :

• at 1920×1080 resolution, textures may be blurry.

I am not sharing the files of the actual game, you must look elsewhere to get the game — buy it somewhere. i bought my copy from eBay, and I am not sharing any license keys either.

UPDATE — u/venomleggsrd has got Trackmania United (Non-Forever) working, he used the «Trackmania United v0.2.1.0 fixed files» from gamesworldcopy website and placed d3d9.dll in the Trackmania United directory. And it worked.
