It’s down for me too. It just tells me you can’t trade with so and so

I thought I was the only one, so this is reassuring to read. Hopefully it’ll be sorted in the morning.

I have a theory that it was the most recent update that made this happen and has only been affecting Mac OS computers. I have Windows XP and have been able to trade just fine.

tf2 item servers might be down. hit f5 in the trade window to refresh your inventories

If you logged in from a new computer you’ll be banned for 7 days, just due to the way steamguard works.

So i’m waking up today and turn on my PC. ->Steam and trying to trade something.

What happens is that HE loads but i don’t. I load, but he doesn’t. Or BOTH load, but i can’t see my backpack, trying to get it and the trade crashes.

Any ideas? It’s driving me crazy.

Каждый сталкивался с ситуацией, когда появлялась необходимость получить
скины, итемы или другие не менее важные вещи от игроков.
Для этого обязательно
открыть трейд, но Стим не всегда даёт это сделать. Почему это происходит
и как исправить ситуацию мы расскажем в этом руководстве.

Почему не работает трейд

Самая распространенная причина — заблокированный обмен, а также отсутствие
настроенного идентификатора.
Это сделано специально, чтобы защитить
опытных пользователей от возможных «кидал» на новых аккаунтах. Разблокировать
трейд довольно просто.

Как разблокировать трейд

Для анлока обмена необходимо выполнить одно из двух условий:

купить вещь стоимостью не менее 5$ на торговой площадке;
пополнить кошелёк на сумму 5$.

После этого запускается таймер в 30 дней, по истечении которых обмен автоматически
будет разблокирован.

Помимо этого стоит заранее побеспокоиться о том, чтобы привязать идентификатор,
привязка которого производится в течение 7 дней.

Перед планируемой датой обмена также не советуем менять номер телефона,
поскольку, в целях безопасности, аккаунт также будет на время недоступен
для трейда.

Настройка приложения одинакова для любой ОС.

Рассмотрим инструкцию установки идентификатора на примере IOS:

Вход в приложение → Ввод логина и пароля → «Steam Guard»:
«Добавить аутентификатор»:
Ввод кода страны и номера телефона, на который придёт sms-сообщение с
подтверждением (номер нужен родной, т.к., в случае утери контроля над учетной
записью, восстановление придётся делать с помощью этого номера):
Ввод полученного в sms-сообщении кода:
Далее появится код, который поможет восстановить доступ к аккаунту в случае
его утраты (необходимо записать):
