Commissioning and Operation

If the module has not achieved the correct operating status, there are

several options available for error diagnostics:

• Evaluating the operating status LED

• Evaluating the output paramter ERR of SB 236

(see ST SB ControlNet — Software Manual)

• Evaluating the data block for status information DB_S

(see ST SB ControlNet — Software Manual)

• Bus diagnostics via the NAP-interface for the module

For this purpose an additional monitoring tool is required. Further

information can be found in the relevant operating mnaual for the

monitoring tool.

Operation

The module is operated on ControlNet using a software package from

Pilz. It contains the standard function block SB 236 which runs in the

standard section of the PSS. It is used for communication between the

PSS and other ControlNET subscribers (send/receive data).

More detailed information on SB 236 can be found in a separate operating

manual «ST SB ControlNet — Software Manual». This is supplied with the

software package.

    03/1998. The PSS operates in conjunction with the module and the relevant software package as the ControlNet Adapter. Pilz programmable safety systems (PSS) have been designed for use in plant and machinery safety circuits. They consist of a failsafe (FS) setion and a standard (ST ) section.

  • Page 11: Software Package

    Overview Software package There is a separate software package available for data exchange between the PSS and the ControlNet Scanner. The standard function block within the software must be incorporated within the user program in the standard section of the PSS. It carries out all of the tasks for data exchange between the PSS and the ControlNet Scanner.

    Safety Installing the module • Please read the Safety Manual and the Installation Manual for the relevant PSS before installing and commissioning the module. • Keep as large a distance as possible between the PSS and any electromagnetic fields, particularly when frequency converters are nearby.

  • Page 16: Function

    The module supports data exchange for Scheduled and Unscheduled Data. Data transfer on ControlNet is carried out using a fixed bit rate of 5 MBit/s. The software package from Pilz is required for commissioning and operating the module. The module occupies part of the range of freely-programmable word modues (XW-access) on the PSS.

The acknowledgements

FbL1 and FbL2 are also monitored in the static

condition. If there are discrepancies between the set and true condition, an
error message will be issued (

ENBL = 0) and the contactors will be

switched off immediately (

K1 = 0 and K2 = 0). The error will need to be

reset.

It is possible to reset errors via the input parameter

RSET both when ON =

0 and when

ON = 1. However, a prerequisite for setting the enable and,

when

ON = 1, switching on the contactors, is that the signals from the

feedback loops are correct.

Error messages

Any fault that is detected will be stored in the corresponding error data
word (

SSNR) of the administration data block (1st data block), until the

fault has been fully dealt with.

—        поставка на территорию РФ и отгрузка заказчикам и клиентам ООО “ФАНУК” любых запчастей (в том числе предоплаченных) к ранее поставленной на территорию РФ продукции производства FANUC CORPORATION;

—        оказание сервисного, технического и гарантийного обслуживания ранее поставленной на территорию РФ продукции производства FANUC CORPORATION;
