Insert one R03/LR03, AAA, UM-4 (not included) battery.

Battery indicator

This indicator flashes on and off when the batteries are al-

most out of power. Power is cut off completely a short while

later.

Replace batteries with new ones.

Note

The length of time the unit will continue to operate between

when the battery indicator starts flashing and when the

power is cut off differs depending on the type of batteries

used.

Insert the stereo earphone plug firmly into the [Ë] jack.

If a gritty noise is heard, wipe away the dirt on the plug.

Before using the volume on the remote control, adjust

[VOLUME] on the main unit so the numbers «5–7» can be

seen on the control.

This function prevents the unit from operating in error.

≥The function on the main unit and the remote control are

independent of each other.

Cautions

≥Align the poles (+ and -) properly when inserting the

battery.

≥Do not recharge ordinary dry cell batteries.

≥Remove all the batteries if the set will not be used for a

long period of time.

≥Do not peel off the covering on batteries and do not use if

the covering has been peeled off.

Mishandling of battery can cause electrolyte leakage which

can damage items the fluid contacts and may cause a fire.

If electrolyte leaks from the battery, consult your dealer.

Wash thoroughly with water if electrolyte comes in contact

with any part of your body.

≥If rechargeable batteries are to be used, rechargeable

batteries manufactured by Panasonic are recommended.

≥Do not play your headphones or earphones at a high vol-

ume.

≥To avoid product damage, do not expose this product to

rain, water or other liquids.

≥Avoid using or placing this unit near sources of heat. Do

not leave it in an automobile exposed to direct sunlight for

a long period of time with doors and windows closed.

≥Mobile phones can cause noise if used too close to the

unit. Separate if this occurs.

≥Discontinue use if you experience discomfort with the ear-

phones or any other parts that directly contact your skin.

≥Continued use may cause rashes or other allergic

reactions.

Maintenance

Clean with a cloth dampened with a mild detergent so-

lution

Do not use benzine, thinners and aerosol cleaners.

For a cleaner crisper sound

Clean the heads regularly to assure good quality playback.

Use a cleaning tape (not included).

If a gritty noise is heard, wipe away the

Darauf achten, den Stecker des Stereo-Ohrhörerbuchse

bis zum Anschlag in die Buchse [Ë] zu schieben.

Falls ein kratziges Rauschen zu hören ist, muß der Stecker

abgerieben werden, um Schmutz oder Staub zu entfernen.

Vor der Einstellung der Lautstärke auf der Fernbedienung

den Lautstärkeregler [VOLUME] am Hauptgerät einstellen,

so daß die Zahlen „5–7″ am Lautstärkeregler zu sehen

sind.

∫ Hinweise zur Haltefunktion

Diese Funktion dient dazu, eine Betätigung des Gerätes

durch unbeabsichtigtes Drücken einer Funktionstaste zu

verhindern.

≥Die Haltefunktion arbeitet jeweils unabhängig am Haupt-

gerät und an der Fernbedienung.

Vorsichtsmaßregeln

≥Beim Einsetzen der Batterie darauf achten, daß die Pole

(+ und -) richtig ausgerichtet sind.

≥Nicht versuchen, eine normale Trockenzellenbatterie

wieder aufzuladen.

≥Alle Batterien entfernen, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit

nicht verwendet werden soll.

≥Streifen Sie nie den Schutzüberzug der Batterien ab, und

benutzen Sie diese nicht, wenn der Schutzüberzug abge-

streift wurde.

Der falsche Umgang mit der Batterie kann zum Auslaufen

des Elektrolyts führen. Ausgelaufener Elektrolyt kann die

Innenteile, mit denen er in Kontakt kommt, beschädigen

und einen Brand auslösen.

Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler, falls Elektrolyt aus

der Batterie ausläuft.

Falls Elektrolyt auf die Haut gelangt, waschen Sie die

entsprechende Stelle sofort gründlich mit Wasser ab.

≥Bei Verwendung von Akkus sollten möglichst Akkus der

Marke Panasonic benutzt werden.

≥Verbrauchte Batterien sachgerecht entsorgen.

≥Nicht mit hoher Lautstärke mit dem Kopf- oder Ohrhörer

hören.

≥Um eine Beschädigung zu vermeiden, dieses Gerät nicht

Regen, Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten aussetzen.

≥Betrieb und Aufstellung dieses Gerätes in der Nähe von

Wärmequellen sind zu vermeiden. Insbesondere darf das

Gerät nicht längere Zeit über in einem mit geschlossenen

Türen und Fenstern in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung

Pflege

Mit einem Tuch reinigen, das leicht mit einem milden

Reinigungsmittel angefeuchtet wurde

Nie Benzin, Verdünner oder Aerosolverdünner verwenden.

Für optimale Klangqualität

Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Tonköpfe, um eine gute

Wiedergabequalität zu gewährleisten. Verwenden Sie dazu

eine Reinigungscassette (separat erhältlich).

Precauzioni

≥Nell’inserire la pila, fare attenzione ad allineare i poli (+ e

-) correttamente.

≥Rimuovere tutte le pile se non si intende usare l’apparec-

chio per un lungo periodo di tempo.

≥Non staccare la protezione delle batterie e non usarle se

la protezione è stata staccata.

Utilizzare una pila in modo inappropriato è causa di perdite

di elettrolita che può danneggiare tutto quello con cui viene

a contatto e può essere causa d’incendio.

Se si verifica una perdita di elettrolita dalla pila, consultare

il rivenditore in merito.

Lavare bene con acqua le parti del corpo che venissero a

contatto con l’elettrolita.

≥Se si usano pile ricaricabili, si raccomandano quelle fab-

bricate da Panasonic.

≥Non usare la cuffia o gli auricolari agli alti volumi del

suono.

≥Per evitare di danneggiare questo prodotto, non esporlo

Manutenzione

Pulire con un panno imbevuto con una soluzione de-

tergente leggera

Non usare benzina, diluenti e prodotti di pulizia all’aerosol.

Per un suono più pulito en nitido

Pulire le testine periodicamente per assicurarsi l’ottima

qualità di riproduzione. Usare un nastro di pulizia (non for-

nito).

Se si sente un rumore stridulo, togliere

lo sporco dalla spina.

≥A pleine puissance, l’écoute prolongée du baladeur peut

endommager l’oreille de l’utilisateur. Utilisez le casque

fourni ou les écouteurs fournis avec l’appareil.

≥Pour éviter tout dommage de l’appareil, ne pas exposer

Die Zeitdauer zwischen dem Beginn des Blinkens der

Batterieanzeige und der Unterbrechung der Spannungs-

versorgung richtet sich danach, ob Akkus oder Trocken-

zellen eingelegt sind.

∫ Anschließen des Stereo-Ohrhörers und der

Darauf achten, den Stecker des Stereo-Ohrhörerbuchse

bis zum Anschlag in die Buchse [Ë] zu schieben.

Falls ein kratziges Rauschen zu hören ist, muß der Stecker

abgerieben werden, um Schmutz oder Staub zu entfernen.

Vor der Einstellung der Lautstärke auf der Fernbedienung

den Lautstärkeregler [VOLUME] am Hauptgerät einstellen,

so daß die Zahlen „5–7“ am Lautstärkeregler zu sehen

sind.

Diese Funktion dient dazu, eine Betätigung des Gerätes

durch unbeabsichtigtes Drücken einer Funktionstaste zu

verhindern.

Vorsichtsmaßregeln

≥Beim Einsetzen der Batterie darauf achten, daß die Pole

(+ und —) richtig ausgerichtet sind.

≥Nicht versuchen, eine normale Trockenzellenbatterie

wieder aufzuladen.

≥Alle Batterien entfernen, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit

nicht verwendet werden soll.

≥Streifen Sie nie den Schutzüberzug der Batterien ab, und

benutzen Sie diese nicht, wenn der Schutzüberzug abge-

streift wurde.

Der falsche Umgang mit der Batterie kann zum Auslaufen

des Elektrolyts führen. Ausgelaufener Elektrolyt kann die

Innenteile, mit denen er in Kontakt kommt, beschädigen

und einen Brand auslösen.

Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler, falls Elektrolyt aus

der Batterie ausläuft.

Falls Elektrolyt auf die Haut gelangt, waschen Sie die

entsprechende Stelle sofort gründlich mit Wasser ab.

≥Bei Verwendung von Akkus sollten möglichst Akkus der

Marke Panasonic benutzt werden.

≥Verbrauchte Batterien sachgerecht entsorgen.

≥Nicht mit hoher Lautstärke mit dem Kopf- oder Ohrhörer

hören.

≥Um eine Beschädigung zu vermeiden, dieses Gerät nicht

Regen, Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten aussetzen.

≥Betrieb und Aufstellung dieses Gerätes in der Nähe von

Wärmequellen sind zu vermeiden. Insbesondere darf das

Gerät nicht längere Zeit über in einem mit geschlossenen

Türen und Fenstern in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung

Precauzioni

≥Nell’inserire la pila, fare attenzione ad allineare i poli (+ e

≥Non provare a ricaricare una normale pila a secco.

≥Rimuovere tutte le pile se non si intende usare l’apparec-

chio per un lungo periodo di tempo.

≥Non staccare la protezione delle batterie e non usarle se

la protezione è stata staccata.

Utilizzare una pila in modo inappropriato è causa di perdite

di elettrolita che può danneggiare tutto quello con cui viene

a contatto e può essere causa d’incendio.

Se si verifica una perdita di elettrolita dalla pila, consultare

il rivenditore in merito.

Lavare bene con acqua le parti del corpo che venissero a

contatto con l’elettrolita.

≥Se si usano pile ricaricabili, si raccomandano quelle fab-

bricate da Panasonic.

≥Non usare la cuffia o gli auricolari agli alti volumi del

suono.

≥Per evitare di danneggiare questo prodotto, non esporlo

alla pioggia, all’acqua o ad altri liquidi.

≥Evitare di usare o di sistemare l’apparecchio vicino a fonti

celle-ci a été retirée.

Une mauvaise manipulation de la batterie peut entraîner

une fuite d’électrolyte qui peut endommager les articles en-

Si de l’électrolyte fuit de la batterie, consulter le revendeur.

Bien laver à l’eau toute partie du corps avec laquelle l’elec-

≥Si l’on doit utiliser des batteries rechargeables, il est

recommandé d’utiliser des batteries rechargeables de

marque Panasonic.

≥A pleine puissance, l’écoute prolongée du baladeur peut

fourni ou les écouteurs fournis avec l’appareil.

≥Pour éviter tout dommage de l’appareil, ne pas exposer
