Проблема с модом ( ohms too high )
Доброго всем дня! У меня мод Panzer DNA200. Подскажите пожалуйста в чем проблема. Во время парения потух экран и мод перестал реагировать. При подключении к сети есть изображение. При нажатии кнопки fire появляется надпись ohms too high. Отсоединяю от сети, все снова тухнет. В этот день заряжал мод от переносного аккумулятора. Может ли это быть как то связано? В чем причина и какие действия предпринять? P.S. мод пришел мне месяц назад

Atomizer Short or Don’t Abuse Protects
When you see this error message please first be aware there is short circuit of your tank or your battery, the following is to find out which part is with problem.
- Please ensure the resiatance of your tank > 0.1 Ω
- Please take off the tank and make sure all screws of tank are tight, then click the fire button, after that place that tank back on, click “n” when it asks “is it a new coil” , if problem still remains please refer to next step.
- Please try with other tanks or coils on your mod, and try the same tank on the other mods to check whether they work fine, this step is to confirm whether the problem is the tank.
- If it is the mod issue, please try to upgrade the firmware of the mod if there is update.
- If your vape is with built-in battery please stop using it and contact Smok after-sale service immediately.
Mod won’t fire or Hit
Box mod：
Problem 1.Show message “no coil”
Possible Reasons:
- Bad connection for the 510 connector.
- Coil issue, no resistance.
Problem 2.Show message “short atomizer”, or “don’t abuse protects”

Suggestions & Solutions:
- Please try to clean the 510 connector
- For the problem of resistance detection error, please take off the tank ,click the fire button, and place that tank back on, click “n” when it asks “is it a new coil” (this step is to erase the resistance memory which was recorded by the previous tank)
- Please make sure screws are tight on tank if you are using the RBA coil on your mod.
- In order to confirm whether it’s the problem of atomizer or mod, please try with other tanks or coils on your mod, and try the same tank on the other mods to check whether they work fine.
- Please set the appropriate power according to the coil’s suggested wattage.
- Please make sure whether the voltage has changed while vaping, if no, please try to upgrade it or replace a new one

SMOK coils taste burnt?
Coils are a wear item and will need to be replaced after a week to a few weeks time. You will know that a coil needs replacing if the coil starts to lose flavor and taste burnt or charred.
SMOK says that under normal conditions, the wire in their atomizers can be expected to be used for 50ml of e-liquid. So if you have a 5ml tank, that’s around ten refills.
Occasionally, coils will wear down more quickly. Especially if you were sent FAKE coils from a site like eBay or WISH. There are many counterfeit copies now that look identical, but do not perform as well. There are also counterfeits that perform as well or better than the original coils.
And sometimes they can start tasting burnt almost immediately. This could be for one of a few different reasons:
- You need to prime your coils – If your vape tastes burnt after a few hits, it could be because you haven’t primed your coil properly. Priming your coil essentially means saturating the coil with e-liquid. Prime your SMOK coils by dropping 2 drops of juice down the center hole of the tank.
- Your wattage is high – Every SMOK coil should have the recommended wattage printed on the side. I always recommend starting as low as possible to fire the coil, and working your way up toward a comfortable vape output. This prevents you from burning on your first hit, and gives you time to adapt to a brand new coil.
- You are vaping too often – Chain vaping is another coil killer. If you are taking one big hit after another, you may be burning up all the juice that has saturated the cotton before more can soak in. Try to take a few moments pause between your hits.
- Your coil may be defective – If you have tried all of the above, it may be that your coil is defective. If you purchased your coils from a local vendor, or from an online vendor you should contact them for a replacement. It’s also a good idea to check for counterfeit if sold as genuine, and report them.
Vape Juice leaking from air holes
Most mods leak from time to time. Although most SMOK tanks are designed with a top-fill locking mechanism to help reduce leaking, vape juice can still leak out of air vents and other openings.
There are some things you can do to reduce leaking:
- Hold your vape upright – Your vape is more prone to leaking when it is on its side. If you have it out on your desk or in your car, make sure it’s kept upright. If you put the vape in your pocket or your bag, you can reduce leaking by closing up the air holes when you aren’t using it.
- Tighten seals and o-rings – Your vape could be leaking because seals aren’t tightened. Make sure all of the sections of the tank, including the glass piece and any o-rings are screwed on tightly.
- Increase your wattage – If juice is leaking out consistently, your wattage may be too low. Low wattage could mean that all of the juice isn’t vaporized before it makes it to the upper chamber and so is leaking out. Make sure you don’t exceed the recommended wattage printed on the side of your SMOK vape coil.

I’ve built a nice coil with 28Ga SS316L wire, and due to the thin wire and the large deck of my RDA (about 8 oder 9 wraps needed to fill the space), the resistance at room temperature was over 1.7 Ohm. When I wanted to test fire it with 30 Watts (in my Pico 75), the display showed «Ohms too high» (it quickly climbed to 2.5 Ohm, I think). So I made another one with one less wrap, but with something over 1.5 Ohm, I still got the same error message when firing. Without thinking too much, I trashed it and made a coil out of thicker wire, but now I got to thinking: Was I simply using too much power, and have I trashed two perfectly good coils? How much power would I need? So far, I’ve only used sub-ohm coils with resistances mostly around 0.5, would the taste/flavor be different? I think I’ve read that high-Ohm coils produce less vapour and prolong battery life, correct?

First problem… Sounds like you’re in TC mode? Pico won’t fire over 1.5 ohm in TC mode, you’ll have to change to wattage. Your coils were probably fine.
I don’t understand the ohm jump to 2.5 unless you’re in TC mode and the mod went wonky reading the coil.
In my opinion 30 Watts was waaaay too much for those coils. I’d start at 8-10 Watts and increase or decrease from there.
Taste flavor? Subjective, more dependent on the atty itself. I vape high ohm low power for the hit. Less dense cloudage but with high nic high PG juice you really feel it but in a different way than subohm.

Maybe you’re running into a consequence of Ohm’s law that is usually ignored when talking about regulated mods: Insufficient voltage.
If your coil really has 1.5ohms resistance, and you dialed in 30 watts, then it means that the voltage must be regulated to 6.7volts, so the drawn current would be 4.47amps, in order to achieve 6.7×4.47=~30W. The single battery pico might not be able to do that.
I have searched for documentation, but I cannot find the pico’s maximum voltage output, so I can’t tell whether or not this is your problem. However, you can test it. Set your mod to 10watts and fire, then to 15 watts and fire. If the above is true, it will fire at 10, maybe still at 15, but not at 20.

Dunno about your Pico, so I’ll mention your DNA75, where the vendor publishes their specs. It has a 6.2V maximum output voltage. So on that mod with your 1.7 Ohm coil, the max watts would be 22.6, BUT SS changes it’s resistance by ~20% at normal vaping temps, so when heated would be around 2.04Ω, and 19watts. The ‘ohms too high’ is really just informational as your mod will ride that max V value while lowering the watts.
As far as the heat for a new coil, read up on ‘heat flux’ on Steam engine.

Try 10 wraps 28 gauge SS316L with a 2.5mm diameter coil. You’ll be around 1 ohm and that should be fine. Install two of those for a dual setup and you’ll be at .5 ohms, which is also a safe range for battery life.
30 watts is 30 watts. Coil mass determines whether the coil will perform well at a given wattage. If you want to vape at 30W you might be better off with a larger wire gauge and fewer turns.
Go here and play around with the values. Heat flux in the bottom right corner will tell you where the wattage sweet spot lies for the coil parameters you enter

With all the variants of Pico now available, I assumed the reference to Pico 75 meant the original 75w version of which I have 3. Many folks have gone to calling it that. Probably better to refer to it as Pico V1.

Thanks for all your answers, this helps a lot. Yes, I’m usually in TC mode, but I switch it into power mode to test fire the coil and check for hot/cold spots, and that’s when I got the error message. And it didn’t have enough power to get the coil to glow, but I guess that’s what some of you were saying when you calculated the power requirements. Unfortunately, my original message was incorrect, and the problem had happened with my other mod, the Htcigar Vtinbox (DNA 75 board).

I’m usually in TC mode, but I switch it into power mode to test fire the coil and check for hot/cold spots, and that’s when I got the error message
If you 1st test fire in temp mode look at the initial resistance/Ω. Then go to power mode for your test fire/checking. Now look at the Ω’s and they should be higher. BUT if you then go back to TC you should notice your mod has retained the initial and much lower value.

I realize that. My DNA fired the coil fine. I just figured my DNA mod «didn’t like» the higher wattage setting because it gave me the error message.

Различие состоит в том, что курящий втягивает в легкие не дым от табака, а пар от жидкости, в большинстве случаев содержащий никотин. Считается, что насыщать им организм с помощью вейпа менее вредно, чем простыми сигаретами, но это очень спорный вопрос.
Вейп состоит из двух основных частей:
Атомайзер в составе устройства выполняет функции обычного испарителя: внутри него жидкость нагревается и превращается в пар. Он представляет собой цилиндрическую емкость небольшого размера с встроенной внутрь керамической чашей. Последняя деталь содержит в себе испарительную систему. Ее составляющими элементами являются:
Получает питание электронный испаритель от аккумулятора. Сверху на систему испарения наиболее часто накладывают металлический мост, покрытый материалом (его основа – железо) с микропористой структурой. Это делается с целью предотвращения повреждений и передачи жидкости.

При пользовании электронными сигаретами через некоторое время, зависящее от качества изделия и соблюдения правил эксплуатации, начинают возникать различные неполадки. Часто они связаны с отсутствием пара, следовательно, с испарителем. Об их характере дают представление надписи, возникающие на дисплее. Знание принципа действия и устройства вейпа помогает самостоятельно справиться с неполадками.
Причины появления надписи «atomizer short», способы исправления вейпа
Аtomizer short – появление этой надпись на дисплее свидетельствует о коротком замыкании. Это сокращение от не вмещающегося полностью словосочетания «atomizer short circuit». Она может появиться на разных устройствах: Wismec Rx200 и Rx2/3, Cuboid и других. Проблема имеет разные причины, связанные как с модом, так и с испарителем. Они вместе со способами решения приведены далее в таблице.

Причины короткого замыкания разнятся. Одни можно устранить своими руками, а при других потребуется замена деталей боксмода. При отсутствии навыков работы, если боксмод пишет shorted (закороченный, замкнутый), то вейп лучше отнести к специалисту.
Действия при «atomizer low resistance»
Когда боксмод пишет «atomizer low resistance», то это значит в прямом переводе «низкое сопротивление атомайзера». Причина может быть вызвана:
Делать все манипуляции по ремонту необходимо аккуратно. В работе понадобятся исправный мод и мультиметр (для измерения сопротивления спирали атома). Для устранения неполадок выполняют следующие действия, приведенные по порядку в соответствии с причинами выше:
Наиболее серьезными являются неполадки с электроникой, потому что требуют в большинстве случаев привлечения специалистов. Может так случиться, что выгоднее будет приобрести новое устройство, чем исправить старое.
Устранение проблем при возникновении надписи «no atomizer»
Надпись «no atomizer» на дисплее означает, что боксмод не видит атомайзер. Причины явления и методы их устранения рассмотрены в таблице ниже.

При наличии обслуживаемой базы при самостоятельной разборке атома встречаются случаи, когда просто забывали установить испаритель или спираль. Решается проблема просто: устанавливают недостающую деталь.
Профилактика поломок
Свести к минимуму указанные выше проблемы помогает периодическая очистка и использование качественных устройств от проверенных производителей.

Также при сильном нагаре испаритель прогревают без катриджа в течение 5-7 секунд.
При очистке атома нельзя:
Периодическое проведение данных мероприятий один раз на протяжении недели продлевает срок службы мода и сводит возможность возникновения проблем с устройством к минимуму. Но лучше вообще завязать с курением — это сбережет не только деньги, но и сохранит здоровье.

Очевидна схожесть Quantum 80Вт с Joyetech eVic VTC Mini. Но в Quantum крышка батарейного отсека реализована в качестве клавиши fire. Также в отличии от VTC Mini дисплей и квадратные кнопки у Smok Quantum находятся на одной панели расположенной на боковой части корпуса мода. Разъем micro-usb компания решила установить в нижней части ребра корпуса. Так что не смотря на общую схожесть VTC Mini и Quantum 80Вт, у последнего схожесть вызвана общей геометрией корпуса и габаритами, что является только плюсом для устройства от Smok. По качеству материалов, электронный мод Quantum имеет высокую оценку. Цинковый корпус покрыт весьма стойкой к потертостям краской.
Как и говорилось, дисплей находится на отдельной пластиковой площадке. Около разъема micro-usb находятся прорези отвода газов. На верхней плоскости есть разъем для 510-го коннектора. Крышка батарейного отсека крепится к корпусу на четырех магнитах, способствуя быстрой смене аккумулятора.
Производительность и режимы работы
Максимальная мощность бокс-мода 80Вт, минимальное рабочее сопротивление в режиме вариватта 0.1 Ом. Перечисленных параметров будет хватать для стабильной работы с очень большим количеством современных атомайзеров/клиромайзеров и дрипок. Помимо прочего, батарейный мод имеет режимы контроля температуры, режим передачи данных по Bluetooth, режим коэффициента температуры, регулировка качества подачи мощности в режиме ваттажа и многие другие.
Обновление ПО

Использование во время зарядки

Обзор на боксмод SMOK KOOPOR Plus 200W TC/VW

Компания SMOK выпустила старшую версии боксмода из серии KOOPOR. Мощное устройство на два аккумулятора 18650, способный выдавать мощность в 200 Вт. Обновленный температурный контроль, который дает возможность использовать проволоку из нержавеющей стали. 
На коробке есть изображение боксмода и название производителя. С торца скретч код для проверки оригинальности на сайте производителя. На основании маленькая аннотация о новых технологиях, которые были внесены в устройство, также есть спецификация (описание технических характеристик), предосторожности и два QR-кода, который переводит на приложение для телефона (один для андроид устройств, другой для iOS). Приложение является просто магазином, в котором вы можете авторизироваться и следить за новинками от данной компании.
Внутри коробки лежит: боксмод, карточка, которая показывает о правильной изоляции аккумуляторов, гарантийная карточка покупателя и инструкция по управлению боксмодом. Также в комплекте идет силиконовый чехол.
У меня на обзоре белая версия устройства, поэтому свои ощущения о внешнем виде я буду описывать о белой версии.. Данный боксмод выпускается в четырёх цветах: красный, стальной, белый. Покрытие устройство приятное, похоже на матовое. Он не оставляет на себе отпечатки, но при падении краска моментально слезет.
Боксмод довольно тяжелый и без установленных аккумуляторов весит 273 грамма. Держать его в руке удобно, из-за покрытия он не скользит, но по размерам он все же большеват. Высота устройство составляет 100 мм, ширина 59 мм, а толщина 24,5 мм. Так как коннекторная площадка приподнята относительно корпуса, чтобы атомайзеры ее не царапали, то все накрученный устройства леветируют. Хоть и толщина бокмода 24,5 мм, но из-за округления по краям, атомайзер нависает над краем лицевой панели.
Сверху расположен 510 стальной подпружиненный коннектор, как я писал выше он слегка приподнят относительно корпуса. По бокам: с одной стороны, съемная крышка отсека под аккумуляторы, с другой название «KOOPOR» и логотип в виде схемы платы. На основании есть окна охлаждения платы и отверстие micro USB, через которое можно обновлять прошивку устройства.
На крышке есть огромное количество газоотводных окон. На этот раз крышка держится очень крепко, за счет восьми качественных магнитов (четыре на корпусе и 4 на крышке). На прошлой версии были проблемы со слабой крышкой. Здесь же все замечательно, да она слегка люфтит по пазам, если толкать пальцем руги, но держится она намертво.
В отсеке под аккумулятор также есть перфорация для охлаждения платы. Минусовые контакты под аккумулятор подпружинены. К сожалению, торцы минусовых контактов островаты, не такие как были на iPV4, но все равно мне кажется, что при замене стоит быть аккуратнее, чтобы не сорвать изолятор. Для более удобной замены есть ленточка.
На лицевой панели есть кнопка «fire», экран, кнопки «↑» и «↓». Я считаю, что для такого большого боксмода, экран могли сделать и побольше. На данной версии он смотрится ну очень маленьким.
Управление:
Устройство включается пятикратным нажатие на кнопку «fire». На экране появляется «WELCOME».
Выключение устройства происходит через меню. Либо есть устройство заблокировано, зажмите кнопку «fire» на 5 секунд и оно выключится.
Одновременное нажатие кнопок «↑» и «↓» блокирует дальнейшее их нажатие.
Одновременным нажатие «fire» и «↑», можно выбирать между температурным контролем, вариваттом, и «Memory Mode» (пресеты).
Одновременным нажатием на «fire» и «↓» выбираем между предустановленными пресетами: Normal, Soft, Hard, Max, Min. Данные пресеты отвечают за плавность разогрева вашей намотки.
Заблокировать устройство можно пятикратным нажатием на кнопку «fire».
В заблокированном состоянии:
Нажимая кнопку «fire» и «↑» одновременно переводим боксмод в stealth mode.
Выйти из stealth mode можно одновременным нажатием на «fire» и «↓».
Перейти в меню можно пятикратным нажатием на кнопку «fire».
В режиме вариватта на экране отображается: заряд аккумулятора, мощность в десятых, напряжение и сопротивление в сотых. В момент блокировки рядом с сопротивлением появляется замок.
В режиме температурного контроля: состояние аккумулятора, предустановленный пресет, сопротивление в сотых и температура.
Регулировать температуру и мощность можно кнопками «↑» и «↓».
В итоге, компания исправила проблему с крышкой, но нависание атомайзера осталось. Многим не нравилось дребезжание кнопок, в основном это была стальная версия. На белой версии все замечательно, кнопки не дребезжат и приятно кликают. Огромный функционал по настройки. Тут и выбор пресетов и температурный контроль на всех возможных спиралях (никель, титан и нержавейка). Лично для меня предустановленные пресеты по разогреву спирали не нужны, но то что они здесь есть является плюсом. Также качественно работающий термоконтроль.
