When I try to start UPS service I get
«Could not start the UPS service on Local Computer
Error 2481: The UPS service is not configured correctly» It was working fine but two days ago this message started to come up ,help i got a windows XP .monamann1@rediffmail.com

using ups upsilon 2000
from Megatec

it is connected via usb cable and am not using anysoftware at least i dont know if i have a software or not ..it says model and manufacture unknown

my ups was working well for the past 8 years ,this means that the software is already installed ,now i get this message that ups is not configured correctly ,maybe i need to change the ups and buy a new one .please advise and thanks nimble knuckle

The interface could now be defective. I’ve seen that issue other far more expensive PSUs. Why don’t you contact Megatec?
