Ошибка 1904 при установке mathcad

Yes it is a new installation.

Sorry my english is not good …:(

It is a licence installed on the server . IT IS A FLOTTING LICENCE. not special local as i said.

It  ask me this at startup , as ususally,  and i have putted my serials2015-09-18_13h33_53.png

During the installation i have this 10 errors messages written at the top of the topic ,  ?? i think it is the problem that i have

WHen i run Mathcad it displays lic.dat does not exist.???

Nomally, in the others computers  When launched, Mathcad searches for an available license. If one is available, it is

allocated to the workstation, and Mathcad opens for use. If a license is not available,

Mathcad notifies the user with an error message and shuts down. Mathcad requires

access to a license server to check out a floating license.

And when i run and put yes mclicence.exe is crashed , here the the message …i can»t put nothing beacuse it is crashing ..

Маткад 14 криво устанавливается под Windows 7 x64

Сам Маткад во время его установки под Windows 7 x64 много раз ругается (ошибка 1904 failed to register. HResult — 2147024865. Contact your support personnel) однако после игнорирования этих ошибок установка заканчивается и маткад запускается, но не строятся 3D графики, полученные с помощью CreateMesh. Сама матрица считается, а когда ее вписываешь в форму для графика пишет сообщение «Значение не может быть неопределенным. имя параметра pUnk». Та же саммая программа при запуске на другом компе с Win XP и с таким же Маткадом (с того же дистрибутива ставился) все нормально считает и все нормально строит.

Если тема не закрыта и нужна помощь. Моя рекомендация для Семерки Mathcad 15, если возникнут проблемы с установкой — обращайтесь.

Я так и не дождался конца установки. Че-то они не дружат.

а msxml4 sp2 и netfrwork 4 ставили???

Да я вообще отказался о 7. Больше недостатков чем достоинств, хотя достоинств не нашел.

    Looks like this problem was already reported couple of years ago http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vcgeneral/thread/9BB49364-F34D-4BFC-9559-7195A4CDE2FD but
    the solution is not correct.

Problem

This technote explains why the error []Error 1904, Module failed to register. HRESULT 5[] might occur when installing IBM® Rational® ClearCase® version 2003.06.00 on Microsoft® Windows®.

Symptom

ClearCase installation fails with the following error:

«Error 1904.module c:\Program                                        
FilesRationalClearCasebinccclientsnode.dll failed to register.    
HRESULT 5.»    

Note: The .dll may vary from error to error.

Cause

  1. This may be an operating system issue.

    A number of various Microsoft Knowledge Base articles include a list of causes including the following:

    *.dll not being correctly registered on the host system.
    *The file is not installed correctly.
    *The file is corrupted.

    Other programs, including memory-resident and anti-virus programs, are running may be using a version of the file.

    A dialog box may pop up with the options to click Cancel, Retry, or Ignore.
    The ClearCase install may also fail.

    If you click Cancel, a message appears asking whether you want to quit Setup.
    If you click Retry, the error message reappears.
    If you click Ignore, Setup continues but may not include all ClearCase components.

    The Microsoft C++ runtime library (msvcrt.dll) may be corrupted, or exist in multiple locations on the machine.

  2. The user performing the installation doesn’t have the required administrative privileges to perform the installation.

Resolving The Problem

Resolving Cause 1 above:

  1. Empty the Temp Directory.

    The Temp folder may contain files that are interfering with the installation of ClearCase. To remove these files, use the appropriate method for your operating system.

  2. Terminate any memory resident programs and Anti Virus software and attempt a reinstallation of ClearCase.
  3. Search the machine for all instances of msvcrt.dll. It should exist in <SystemRoot>system32. If there are duplicates that exist in other locations, check to see if those locations are in the System PATH. If so, temporarily remove those locations from the path and retry the installation.

Resolving Cause 2 above:

Add the user performing the installation to the local administrators group or log on as a user who has administrative privileges on the local host and retry the installation.

           Our application is running fine with Windows 2003 Server. now we are moving to Windows 2008 Server R2 (64-bit) 

    Here we are facing issues while installation.

           Error we are getting is: Error 1904. Module ________________ failed to register.

                                              HRESULT -2418023886. Contact your support personnel.

    Please help us to know the cause and the resolution for the above error.

  • Hi Abhishek,

    Are you running the installation as Administrator?
    And please ensure all the necessary libraries exsited in the correct path.

    You could also try to enable the built-in administrator account: right-click «Computer»->click Manage->expand Local Users and Groups->choose Users->double click Administrator->clear the Account is disabled checkbox->click OK.
