Выскочила 940 ошибка (Ошибка транспортировки отработки (по нагрузке)* — ссылка. Ошибка возникает, как правило, в случае переполнения бункера отработанного тонера (http://www.ross-com.ru/catalog/opcii/oki/42869403/
). О принципах работы бункера и методах его очистки (для самых экономных — он стоит всего 500 рублей) можно почитать на замечательном сайте Кудесника (http://www.kudesnik.net/faq/colour/fc041.php).
Первое что происходит при переполнении бункера — выгибание вот этой скобы.

На ней крепится конусная шестерня, которая выходит из зацепления со своей парой и не вращает шнек отвода отработки с барабанов. Подгибаем ее на место и все закрутилось.
Однако в нашем случае все гораздо серьезнее. Принтер при работе очень сильно шумит/трещит. Снимаем пластмассовые детали и видим что не выдержала нагрузки вот эта шестерня.

и механизм на транспортном ремне, на который мы поначалу не обратили внимание

Но это все может быть починено самим пользователем, точно такая же шестерня есть в бункере отработки тонера (который мы вовремя не заменили), можно взять ее оттуда, замена 10-15 минут.
Транспортный ремень в данном случае решено было заменить, так как этот уже прошел около 60 тыс страниц и был не в лучшем виде.

Edge fold can be used for wild formats copies or DIN size copies. The Océ 940 detects the copy size automatically. When the copy is fed in the first time the first fold is delivered according to the chosen programme.

Introduction The Océ 940 offers the customer flexibility. The copies are folded according the chosen folding width in combination with a folding method. The folding widths are (see figure 3): 210: package width is 210 mm. 190: package width is 190 mm.

The folding methods are (see figure 4): 1: edge fold: edge fold means that the last fold is always to the left (meaning that the last page is not always totally covered). 2: package fold: package fold makes it possible to fold according to din standards when using din standard originals. -

Folding copies The Océ 940 automatically detects the size of the copy material. The only thing that has to be selected on the operating panel is the folding width and the folding method. This determines the way the copy is folded in the first fold.

To get the optimal quality it is advised to guide the paper into the machine. Clearing paper jams In case of a paper jam, the machine stops and if possible the folded copy is delivered. The arrow on the operating panel flashes and the message display shows the error code. No more sheets can be fed into the machine. If one of the following error codes are displayed, there is a paper jam, which can be cleared very easily by the operator.
