F000 Communication problem between the main PWB and operation panel PWB
Description :
Communication is failed between the operation panel PWB and the main PWB.
Causes :
Defective main PWB.
Defective system DIMM PWB.
Defective operation panel PWB.
Solutions :
Turn the power switch off/on to restart the printer.
If the error is not resolved, replace main PWB.
Replace the system DIMM PWB.
Replace the operation panel PWB.
Remember, not every error is exactly the same. What fixes the Kyocera FS3900DN, FS4000DN Call Service F000 Error Code one time might not solve it the next time. While the information above comes from the service manual and generally should get your machine up and running, sometimes other factors might be in play.

Doubt that upgrading the firmware is going to solve your problem. The F0000 is a communications problem between the control panel and the the main PCB, you could try re-seating all the connectors on the control panel, but I have had a couple of these and replacing the main pcb solved the issue. Hope this helps.
