Добрый день! Накопитель 535 Series. При попытке выполнить оптимизацию накопителя выходит ошибка Ошибка: При работе Intel SSD Optimizer возникла ошибка. (10/106). Версия программного обеспечения последняя. Это началось после переустановки Windows 10. Переустановка программы Intel SSD Toolbox не помогла. Подскажите как решить вопрос.

1. This error was reported by many users. The Intel SSD Toolbox reached End of Maintenance and is now replaced by The Intel Memory and Storage Tool (Intel MAS)

2. Wait with installing the Intel MAS, since it is suffering from the same problem. Intel is working on new version in order to fix that.

На стандартном контроллере SATA AHCI все работает ошибки 10/106 нету.А когда обновил драйвер на контроллер SATA AHCI все перестало работать и появилась ошибка 10/106.

New version of Intel MAS Tool was released. Download and install the latest Version: 1.1. I’ve downloaded and installed this version, updated firmware on my SSD 760P series (rebooted my computer) and the successfully completed the Optimization Test. See the attached images.

Hi, so as the subject says, I can’t TRIM optimize my SSD in the SSD toolbox. It happened after a full clean installation of Windows. I’m using Windows 10 Pro 2004 (OS Build 19041.329). All the information should be in the .csv attachment. Please note that I’m using an HP OEM version (2.5″ SATA), I contacted them but they couldn’t help me out. On the previous install of Windows, the tool did work. This was Windows 10 Pro 1909 (can’t remember the OS build). And I tried older versions, those did not work either.

Sadly, I don’t have other systems or SSDs to test it with.

Here is a screenshot of the utility too (in case that helps):

So I found a fix.
First off, you shouldn’t be using the «old» Intel SSD Toolbox but opt for the Intel MAS Tool (GUI).

Now it still gave me the error «Controller might be RAID or the drive is encrypted, continue at your own risk», I just ran it and it gave me the 10/106 error.

What I did as an attempt to fix it:

1. Go into the BIOS setup

2. Go to the storage settings

3. Turn off hot-swap (which probably is not the solution) AND set the controller emulation to RAID

4. Reboot, yes it’ll say no bootable medium found but don’t worry

5. Go back into the BIOS setup and change the controller emulation back to AHCI

7. Run the SSD optimizer

> Your mileage may vary, for me it worked.

PS: the new tool looks way better than the old tool

(5) I have tried the previous version of Toolbox (3.5.11).

(6) O&O Defrag Progressional Edition «Optimize SSD with TRIM» appears to terminate successfully.

Thank you for the response and for all the information.

I tested one of our Intel® SSD 750 Series (400GB, 1/2 Height PCIe 3.0 x4, 20nm, MLC) in a local machine:

• Motherboard GA-H270-Gaming 3
• Clean Windows 10 Home (64 bit) installation
• Intel SSD 520 2.5 (240GB for the OS)

Connected the drive directly to the computer, installed Toolbox, updated the firmware, installed the latest Intel Client NVMe driver and ran the optimizer without problems, I also tested using an existing Windows 10 Pro system, so this seems to be an isolated issue.

Can you try one more time after installing the latest Intel Client NVMe driver?:

Since the other tool completed the task successfully, have you tried to run it again using Toolbox?

I can also try to look further into this or submit the report regarding the error. I would need the following for that:

I run «Intel® Driver & Support Assistant» regularly. I ran the suggested link again (system is up to date).

The SMART report is attached. The SSU report will be attached following this message (as I cannot attach 2 files).

The SSD Optimizer worked when the SSD was first installed — I have apparently done something that broke it.

I continue to try the SSD Optimizer without success.

Thank you for exploring this problem, but perhaps it should not be a priority since it is apparently a very uncommon error.
