Дак ведь зайти при запуске компа в настройки RAID контроллера. Там есть опция добавления в массив.
У тебя маны есть по твоему серверу?

Да, но есть вопрос при добавлении, не надо делать бекапы данных?*

Dett,
Бэкапы данных нужно делать 2 штуки вообще в любой непонятной ситуации. 2 штуки — это на 2 разных носителя и заранее проверенным (путем развертывания сделанного бэкапа) методом.
И это не шутка и не прикол.

Troubleshooting

Problem

The DASD Operator Panel Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk LED may not illuminate when, even though a long write error has occurred and the disk has been flagged as inoperable, the Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) array will be noted as CRITICAL in ServeRAID Manager.

Resolving The Problem

Source

RETAIN tip: H195714

Symptom

The DASD Operator Panel Light Emitting Diode (LED) and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk LED may not illuminate when, even though a long write error has occurred and the disk has been flagged as inoperable, the Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) array will be noted as CRITICAL in ServeRAID Manager.

Affected configurations

The system may be any of the following IBM servers:

  • System x3755, type 7163, any model
  • System x3755, type 8877, any model
  • System x3550, type 1013, any model
  • System x3550, type 1913, any model
  • System x3550, type 7978, any model
  • System x3650, type 1914, any model

The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:

  • ServeRAID-8k SAS Controller, Option 25R8064
  • ServeRAID-8k-l SAS Controller, Option 39R8729

This tip is not software specific.

  • The 11835 firmware for the ServeRAID Controller is affected.

Workaround

Update the 8k or 8k-l ServeRAID controller firmware/Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) to level 15427 or later.

Additional information

When the RAID controller is shutdown and the RAID array is in OKAY status and then rebooted with a disk that now has long read or long write errors present, the media error handling algorithm was not informing the I2C bus accordingly. The ServeRAID firmware is now more capable of handling media errors correctly informing the I2C bus accordingly.

Run the Configuration/Setup Utility program and set

the date and time.

Make sure that the DIMMs are supported by the

server and that they are installed correctly.

Make sure that the keyboard cable is connected

and that nothing is resting on the keyboard keys.

Make sure that all PCI adapters are installed

correctly. In the Configuration/Setup Utility program,

make sure that all PCI devices are enabled.

Disable option ROMs and integrated devices that

are not needed and set the PCI device boot priority

to ensure that the boot device option ROM is able

to load.

Install an operating system.

Make sure that microprocessor x is installed

correctly. (Trained service technician only) If the

problem remains, replace microprocessor x.

Download and install the latest level of BIOS code.
