I have done a fresh install of Windows 10 and it is still a no go.
In device manager it shows up as HoloLens Sensor with an error:
‘The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.’
Trying to update drivers always fails with no drivers found.
I have tried through every single USB port on my MB, it doesn’t even come up on any of the USB 3.0 ports.
My laptop is able to recognise the headset, I have no idea why it can but my main computer can’t see it.

Hololens sensors driver Bug
This is bugreport. I haven’t found convenient bugreport form.
I have Lenovo Explorer and I have some problem bug with nevest driver 10.0.18362.1162. The Left controller doesn’t work properly, it isn’t tracked, because its lights is low. But if I install «10.0.16299.1042 it works properly.
P.S. F**k driver silent installation in Windows 10, I have tried every way to disable auto update for Hololens Sendsors driver, but every time it installs nevest driver.

Code 43 On Mixed Reality Headset
To my surprise, changing the drivers did the trick!
I don’t think I updated the drivers, I think I chose older drivers. Weird.
It’s hard to tell from the version date, Microsoft drivers are always 2006 for some reason.
I went from HoloLens Sensors Version: 10.0.17760.1000 to HoloLens Sensors Version: 10.0.17134.1004
If someone wants to replicate my steps:
1. In device manager, right click the hololens sensors with the yellow triangle
2. Click update driver
3. Browse my computer for driver software
4. Let me pick from a list of available drivers
5. Click on HoloLens Sensors Version: 10.0.17134.1004 — if you don’t have these drivers, I think i got them from this link: Download Windows Mixed Reality driver version 10.0.16299.1062 from Official Microsoft Download Center
