. Сижу значит ,скачиваю фоллыч(лицензия). Установил, как у людей, запускаю-«unable to find an INI file.Please reinstall Fallout 4».
Переустанавливал уже, не помогло. От имени админа запускал, тоже не помогло, где искать этот ini файл??? Помогите, очень хочу поиграть. заранее спасибо!
Такая же хрень была с Fallout new vegas.
делать надо следующее:
1. Удалить папку Fallout 4 из мои документы my games.
2. Правой кнопкой на мой компьютер — смотрим сколько бит операционка (кто в курсе, пропускает этот пункт) .
3. Правой кнопкой на панели задач, свойства/меню пуск/настроить — ставим галку на «команда выполнить». ОК, применить.
4. Пуск/выполнить/regedit
4.а. 1. Если операционка 32 бит, то открываем строку HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE
4.б. 1. Если операционка 64 бит, то открываем строку HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Wow6432Node
4.б. 2. Раздел Bethesda Softworks создаем в разделе Wow6432Node — правой кнопкой не на SOFTWARE, а на Wow6432Node, далее по скринам.
5. Запускаем Fallout 4 Launcher. Нажимаем OPTIONS, настраиваем разрешение, сглаживание и т. д. Последующие разы можно запускать с екзешника.

Короче. Вот решение.
Заходим в папку с игрой. Запускаем Fallout4.exe от имени админа (НЕ ЛАУНЧЕР, А ИГРУ!!), далее в игре жмём выход, и потом открываем лаунчер, и он работает, и изменяет графические настройки.
PROFIT.
Пойду тему создам, ибо в сети много вопросов по этому поводу

So I tried to install fallout new vegas again (Steam, goty version I think), I have previously installed and played the game successfully on this same machine, but when I started it up today, it showed the error message «Unable to find INI file. Please reinstall fallout.» before going to the launcher and starting the game resulted in an instant crash.
I have tried doing the following:
-making a backup and restoring the game from the backup (found this as an apparent fix on the internet)
-reinstalling (redownloading) the game
-verifying the game cache (multiple times)
-checking out the directory where the INI should be (documents/MyGames/falloutnv): I have found that I was missing the fallout_default.ini -> I got the file from the internet and put it there, it still didn’t work
-putting that dll file in the install directory thats supposed to fix both fallout 3 as well as nv
-deleting the falloutnv folder in MyGames and verifying the game cache so it would maybe download the INI: It redownloaded the folder but it is now missing BOTH the fallout_default.ini and the fallout.ini, verifying again doesn’t do anything
googling the issue brings up a lot of people with the same problem but none of the solutions have worked for me. Does anyone have an idea what I could do to fix this?
(I already posted this on the steam forums but nobody was able to help me there)

Since you have messed around a bit , this is my Suggestion.
Uninstall the Game. use steam and …»Delete Local Game content».
Once you have UNinstalled the Game. Browse to the Game folder>>>SteamsteamappscommonFallout New Vegas and Delete the entire folder.
Restart your computer.
Make sure the FalloutNV folder does not exist!
Install the Game.
As with ALL the Bethesda games the very first thing I do after install is to make a Folder in my downloads folder named for the game, in that folder i make backup copy’s of the EXE, All 3 INI files and any file i am about to Edit, like Stutter remover or ENB’s ini,,files. When i edit a file I save the edited copy in another folder under my «DownloadsGamesFallout NVOriginalsEdited» Cant be to cautious, as these files are tiny..lol
Run the game , play it hard before you install any mods.
EDIT: your not installing to a UAC protected folder crap are ya?? DON’T let steam install the game to either «Program Files OR Program Files (x86)» . When you do the install look carefully their IS an option to pick a different Folder. Mine is here>>E:GamesSteamsteamappscommonFallout New Vegas.

You don’t have to uninstall. That takes forever. Right click on the game in Steam Library and click Properties. Then select the «Local Files» tab and the last button should be «VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE…», click that. Steam will go off and check all your game files and replace any corrupted, missing, or modified GAME files. NOT mod files. If you’ve made custom edits to any GAME files, I’d make a backup of those or be prepared to do it all over again.
Edit: Probably should have kept reading your post before reading suggestions… Ok try this (Windows 8.1) Open your Game folder and make sure you have the menubar visible. Click «File» tab and in the «Show/Hide» pane make sure you have two boxes checked, «Hidden Items» and «File name extension».
Let me know if that helps
EDIT 2: Knowing the specific .INI file you’re looking for would help as well. Fallout_Default.INI isn’t created until you run the game for the first time. Not sure about Fallout.INI, but it may be the same way.

Практически во всех случаях установок необходимо редактирование файла «fallout4.ini» находится он по пути «documents/mygames/fallout4/», после в нём находим:
[Archive]
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS,
и изменяем на:
[Archive]
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS, TEXTURES, MUSIC, SOUND, INTERFACE, MESHES, PROGRAMS, MATERIALS, LODSETTINGS, VIS, MISC, SCRIPTS, SHADERSFX
отсутствует файл (во всех папках игры) на его месте сидит Fallout4Prefs

Yes you do have one, you wouldn’t be able to start the game if you didn’t. The «ini» part might not be showing up because for some reason Windows by default hides known extensions. You should change that setting in your folder options.

Предлагает переустановить игру, пробовал, не помогло. Кэш тоже проверял, может кто с таким сталкивался?
У меня решилось переустановкой с внешнего накопителя на локальный диск D
попробуй найти файл с форматом ini,может даже config.ini.и скинуть в папку с игрой.может и поможет

да, помогла, плюс, попробуй устанавливать без прерывания, а то у меня бывало ноут в спящий режим уходил, пока steam игру качал

Просто запустите игру через fallout 4.exe в папке с игрой, потом в самой игре измените графику сохранитесь и все, потом можно запустить через ланчер

Решил проблему запустив игру через лаунчер в папке с установленной игрой. GeForce expirience не трогал.

Проблема эта в сохранениях игры, у меня лично стоит win 10, и после того как я скопировал сохранения в папку на onedrive в папку документы все запустилось, посмотрите у себя в папке с сохранениями должен быть файл fallout4.ini, и посмотрите в правильной ли папке они лежат.

RSD-91 А уменя зависает fallout3 то на старте, то когда к папе подойти надо, после он уходит и через несколько сек опять виснит. Япробывал как рекоминдовали в инете [ Fallout.ini в нем в разделе [General] меняем 0 на 1 в строке bUseThreadedAI=0 и добавляем строку (ее нет в этом файле вообще) iNumHWThreads=2 ] и всеравно виснет, неподскажеш шо может быть?

И зачем оно надо, вам как-бы самим ети ini файлы не удалить, при следующем запуске они должны создаться снова настроенные по умолчанию.

находишь игру в списке жмеш правой кнопкой — свойства — локальные файлы — проверить целостность кэша, ждешь завершения проверки запускаешь игру,если файлы потерялись при загрузке то он их докачает

перепутал сначала ошибку=) в моем случае сначала был трабл с ини, потом с вылетами из игры, так что если удастся запустить — отключай сразу.
