Armoury Crate error 101

After I installed new antivirus i got a problem with Armoury Crate. It’s stopped working.

I tried to reinstall this, but always error 101. I was looking how to fix it, but it didn’t work, please, help me.

What version Armoury Crate you tried to install?

Below is the download link of ver. 3.1.2.0 which is the latest one.

I was trying to install v3.1.2.0

After «Installing components for devices» step I’m getting 101 error.

Have you restarted the system and check internet connection then try the installation again?

Did you use the uninstall tool in below link?

4 times uninstalled and installed with tools. after rebooting, shutting down and turning on again. This isn’t working.

Then may you try some app like Geek uninstaller to double check if all the armoury crate related driver are uninstalled?

If you are not sure, share the screenshot of Geek uninstaller and we can check it together.

Something like this

I saw the ROG Live Service is still in the list.

Please uninstall ROG Live Service, and reboot the device,

then check the Armoury Crate installer can install successfully?

Also, your issue happened after new antivirus.

Please help also check and ensure your antivirus or optimizer software do not block any Armoury Crate processes.

I’ll try it, but this antivirus didn’t blocked it before. Cause of Dr. Web I changed it again to Avast

Its also doesn’t work

I turned off antivirus and uninstalled ROG Live service then tried to reinstall Armoury Crate and still 101 error while installing components for devices

I saw you installed Dr. Web and Avast.

After installing which antivirus, you meet the Armoury Crate issue?

Normally we suggest install one antivirus is enough.

We are afraid of installing multiple antivirus may results in some Windows file missing.

Please re-store Windows and install Armoury Crate to see the error 101 still happen?

If Armoury Crate is successfully installed, then install antivirus.

Latest armoury crate update break again the Icue integration, the corsair ram led are stuck whenever the asus plug in kick in, if I disable the plugin it start working again everything.
Anyway I’ve notice that when the plug in kick in every app that read info about the ram like zentimings or hwinfo cannot read the memory controller and gives errors.

Hi all,
I have the same issue, the Asus core SDK doesn’t update, it shows that is installing but at the end nothing happened, i receive the same massage, that Asus core should be installed.
I have a Asus laptop ROG FLOW X13

I am having an issue where the ASUS Core SDK won’t install and still stuck on install, no matter how many times I press it.

If you also have iCUE installed, please check the following:
1. When the lighting is frozen, do you see the standby mode message?

2. And if it’s in standby mode, can the lighting resume after clicking and applying any effect in Aura Sync?

** Since we permit Corsair to control MB and GPU light from iCUE, as long as you have it installed, it will assume control during a system boot/reboot.

If you need to have iCUE installed as well, you may need to apply the Aura Sync effect manually if it freezes.

Please provide a log for the memory controller detection error (see original post)

Guys, if the Core SDK update cannot complete, it probably means that you don’t have any compatible (ROG/ASUS) devices connected.
Connect the device and try again.

If your PC or notebook is the only compatible device, enable Aura Wallpaper and try again.
If Aura Wallpaper is not installed, go to: Featured=>Content Platform to pick one and download, the function will become available.

Armoury crate is not showing rog spatha page

Hi,
After formatting SDD, installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 and installing latest Armoury Crate, the ROG Spatha page is still in blank when choosing it from the device menu (no information is shown).

2. No the ram light did not resume, i changes only the motherboard light

Problem installing Armoury Crate Error 101

Uninstall tool v2.1.4.0 & AC Installer v3.1.4.0 are now available:

I have recently uninstalled Armoury crate latest version using the uninstall tool provided by Asus. the soul purpose of my uninstall was because of the new feature aura wallpaper not working even after updating everything. Unfortunately now I am unable to install it back.

Reason is as provided in the screenshot Error 101, check internet connection etc. (No problems with my connection as its 300 mbs).

Any hints or suggestions on how to solve this dilemma :S ?

ASUS Core SDK Update

I don’t have any other ASUS devices than my TUF A15 laptop, which is connected obviously. I still got the update and it can’t be completed.

Last update killed everything on Windows 11

So from this update my Armoury Crate just died. I can’t use it. Did a full wipe, removed it with the latest uninstaller + removed AI suite 3 too with the same, cleaned up all the remaining trash from Program Files /ASUS folders. Cleaned up all service leftovers but it’s impossible to install it. Even if installation success just the start takes around 5-10 minutes and nothing working.

After update I lost FanXpert availability it said Error 2006 can’t load page, than I lost my motherboard from the AURA part. I was able to install the clean app (Beta) from windows 11 app store and now trying to install the rest with he 1,77GB Full installer (what 10/10 failed with no network error) without the installation from app store. I had only one error during installation and that was OptionalHAL and AsIO3.sys missing what coming up all the time everywhere from this version.

Can’t open AsIO3.sys. Failed with error code 2: System didn’t found the file.
I see 3 versions under AXSP installed now 4.02.05, 4.02.06 and 4.02.12, the windows service points to the 4.02.06 what not really working on Windows 11. It’s dead at «Starting» if I want to start the service manually it says error 1053, timeout.

I don’t even have a Dashboard in app.

I am not able to restore or reinstall my Windows 11. Too many things configured and used 24/7. Is there any real working instruction? I am trying to fix this for a week now and spent 6+ hours daily.

SOLVED THIS WITH RESTORE WINDOWS 11 TO A VERSION BEFORE I USED Armoury Create Uninstall Tool on 5.1.5
