124-315, 317, 355 DC132 Error 02, 04 and 14 RAP

124-315 Stored data mismatch. Internal control error was detected.
124-317 Stored data mismatch. Internal control error was detected.
124-355 At least one set of territory information at the 3 locations is different.

Procedure

WARNING: Ensure that the electricity to the machine is switched off while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Refer to GP 10. Disconnect the power cord. Electricity can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.

1. Switch off, then switch on the machine, GP 10. The fault persists.

2. Perform SCP 5 Final Actions.

3. Enter dC131 Compare NVM values 700-600, 700-601 and 700-602. The 3 values match.

4. Perform dC132. Make all three values the same.

5. Perform Software Loading via the Special Boot Menu, GP 4.

If the fault persists, install a new components as necessary:

• ESS PWB, PL 3.10 Item 6.
• Drive PWB, PL 1.10 Item 4.

Всем привет!
Versalink B405. Ушел в сон и не вернулся. При перезагрузке виснет на заставке Xerox. Грешу на плату EMMC, которая втыкается в форматер.
Нашел б/у с другого аппарата. Теперь при загрузке ошибка 124-315. По идее это несовпадение данных по серийнику в ней и в форматере.
Но не могу эти данные переписать через команду DC132. Пишет «invalid serial number». Кто-то проделывал такую процедуру на этих аппаратах?

Color 550 error code 124-315 caused by taking out battery from main board?

Hello, we are having scan to email issues with this 550 and noticed that it would show yesterday’s date and a few hours behind the correct date. So we thought maybe the CMOS battery was bad on the fiery and it was not syncing properly with the server. We were getting error 016-772 .

While I went to get the battery another tech opened up the 550 and took a small board (Maybe 2 inches by 2 inches) off the main board that holds a larger round battery to test it. When I came back and we put the machine together it shows a terminal error 124-315. We cannot get anything to come up on the display. I am assuming this cleared the ROM chip and the operating system? Could anyone verify this? Also the flash card is missing from the drawer so we have no way of reloading the software. Any help appreciated.

ROM chips don’t have volatile memory. Only the RAM is volatile and would lose data without power. If what you’ve done is on the fiery, it’s strange that the machine is now giving an error. That error code is data mismatch between machine boards, so you need to do a sync. You sure you pulled the battery from the fiery?

What you removed was the mcu nvm board who keep the machine datas.
If you are lucky men only a simple data syncronization will solve the problem.
If not you must place a call to xerox tech and prepare to sped you a lot of moneys.

You need a new nvm pwb, when you remove battery it kills all software on it, it will be a sold machine also

Sorry for the delay in updating. Yes, jhalfhide, we replaced the battery on the Fiery Board but that was not it unfortunately. PArt of the problem was a bad NVM Board as adriansto and mickey singh suggested. We replaced and did a sync and that resolved the 124-315 error. We are still having issues however, sometimes the machine just shuts down and other times it will not power up. It is intermittent. We called in a Xerox Tech and the Fiery was reloaded just to eliminate that issue as we could not log in at times either. And what is weird is the time went back to 2009 and we tried to change it but it won’t change. I think this machine got zapped, it was not protected by any power filter. It could be a board or the power supply unit as well. Will update again when resolved or any other questions.
